We are pleased to announce that Benmor Medical are now ISO 14001 certified following a successful audit by QMS International.
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard that sets the requirements for an environmental management system. The system allows us to identify, manage and control environmental issues.
The decision to add ISO 14001 to our existing certifications was largely influenced by our environmental goals. The NHS have committed to achieving Net Zero by 2040 for emissions that they control directly and by 2045 for the emissions that they influence for example those created by suppliers like us.
As a supplier to the NHS it was important to put the necessary processes in place to improve and control our performance in this respect. In addition to taking the necessary steps to align with targets set by the NHS, ISO 14001 will enable us to be more efficient, allow us to keep up with fast changing regulations and increase engagement internally with our employees. Our ultimate goal will be to benefit from improving our reputation and confidence of our stakeholders.
