The easy to use S-CAPEPOD allows for quick evacuation of immobile bariatric patients up to 300kg (47.3st).
This simple to deploy evacuation device is stored between the frame of the bed and the mattress and when required can be unfolded and fitted around the patient, taking around 60 seconds to get the patient ready for evacuation.*
Using the hand-hold straps at the head and foot-end allow the mattress and occupant to be easily manoeuvred along the floor and down stairs to a point of safety.
*training may be required in order to achieve swift evacuation
