With the evolving outbreak of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we would like to inform our customers that their wellbeing is, and has always been our highest priority. Benmor Medical are currently unaffected by the outbreak but are well equipped to deal with any problems should they arise. A contingency plan is in place should we be affected to ensure we can continue our usual high-quality service whilst also protecting customers and staff.
As already outlined, we are not currently affected by the virus and have no confirmed or suspected cases amongst our employees. However, we have taken advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other reputable sources and have put in place the following plans:
- Currently, none of our employees have visited the affected areas in the past 14 days. If any staff members report any flu-like symptoms, they will report this immediately to their line manager and they will be sent home.
- Visits to any affected hospitals will be limited, with essential patient equipment deliveries taking priority.
- Suitable personal protective equipment and disinfectant/ sanitisation solutions will continue to be used.
- All equipment is meticulously decontaminated using high-grade disinfecting products, extensively tested to be effective against viruses. We use Tristel Fuse for surfaces in our decontamination processes which are chlorine dioxide sporicidal disinfectants proven effective against the most resistant viruses in the medical field. Tristel Fuse is virucidal and effective against Coronaviruses.
We are confident that our measures will ensure both your protection and the protection of your patients.
We are closely monitoring the situation regarding the virus and will keep customers informed should any changes occur.
Our 24/7 customer phone line and emergency equipment deliveries continue to run nationwide and are not affected.
