Fixed Width Wheelchair
The advantage of our Fixed Width Wheelchair is the added strength and stability gained by losing the need for a folding mechanism. Our fixed width wheelchair has a safe working load of 42st/266kg however an optional reinforcement bar can be added to increase this weight limit to 70st/444kg.
The rear wheels on this chair are located further forward than most wheelchairs, putting most of the weight of the patient over the back wheels. This greatly improves stability and control. This chair is fully adjustable and dismantles for easy transportation and storage.
